360 Photo Booth:          What is it

A 360 photo booth is an interactive photo booth experience that captures a 360-degree video or image of a person or group of people. Instead of taking a traditional static photo, the booth uses a rotating camera or a stationary camera with the ability to capture the scene from all angles. These booths are designed to create dynamic, high-quality content that gives users the sensation of being at the center of a rotating or spinning camera setup.

Here’s how it typically works:

  1. Setup: The booth has a platform and motorised arm that holds a camera. The platform or arm moves in a circular motion around the subject(s), allowing the camera to capture multiple angles.

  2. Interaction: The people in the booth usually strike poses, dance, or interact with props as the camera spins around them. The motion can be slow or fast, depending on the effect desired.

  3. Media Creation: The camera records video during the rotation, which are then compiled into a 360-degree video or a short video clip for instant sharing on social media.

  4. Sharing: After the shot is taken, the footage then made available for guests to download, share on social media, or email themselves. It’s a fun and memorable experience for special events like weddings, corporate events, parties, and trade shows.
